Matt Amante (West Hempstead, N.Y.) scored a goal in his final regular-season game at The Ice Den, but the Penmen fell 3-1 to Assumption University on Saturday night.

KEY MOMENTS
- Assumption scored at 2:00 of the first period on a goal by Jake Lavoie, who beat SNHU goalie Sean Guerin (Chicago, Ill.) with a blast into the top of the net.
- Both teams scored goals in 5-on-3 power-play situations in the second period. The Greyhounds had nearly a two-minute advantage on back-to-back Penmen misdeeds.
- Camron Roberts scored to make it 2-0.
- SNHU's goal by Amante came in a similar situation at 10:52 after a pair of penalties on the Greyhounds. Watson sent the puck up top to Clear, who passed to Amante for the goal.
- Assumption extended the lead at 1:34 of the final period on a goal by Jonathan Surrette.
- The Greyhound goal was scored by Jonathan Surrette at 15:51 of the second period.

- Assumption had a 37-32 advantage on shots on goal.
- The Greyhounds were 1-for-5 on the power play, while the Penmen were 1-for-4.

NOTES
- On Senior Day, the Penmen recognized seniors Tucker Twardosky (Merrimack, N.H.), Jackson Aldrich (Waterville, Maine), Derek Flynn (Dracut, Mass.), and Amante. Team Manager Mason Adams (Lebanon, N.H.) also was introduced on the ice with his parents and brother in recognition of his three years with the program.
- Watson's 10 goals and 12 assists give him a team-high 22 points. Amante is right behind with 10 goals and 11 assists.
- The Penmen lead the all-time series with the Greyhounds 42-41-5, but Assumption won three of the four games played this season.
- The Penmen hold second place in the Northeast-10 with one game remaining in the regular season (Saint Michael's at Post). Assumption is the regular season champion.
