Jess Knight (Hanover, Mass.) matched her career high with 24 points, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team had its seven-game winning streak snapped Saturday with a 74-61 loss to Pace University at the Stan Spirou Field House.

KEY MOMENTS
- Five points from Timberlake carried a 9-4 stretch over the opening 4:04 for Southern New Hampshire, which led, 20-15, at the end of the first quarter.
- The margin was still five with a little over three minutes remaining in the opening half when Pace closed the stanza on a 9-2 run to grab its first lead of the contest at 34-32.
- SNHU would never lead again, as Pace broke a 43-all tie at the 3:26 mark of the third quarter with a 5-0 spurt and went to the final frame in front, 52-48.
- It was still a four-point game at 58-54 with six minutes remaining when a 16-4 burst gave the Setters their largest lead of the afternoon at 74-58 with 1:19 on the clock.

- Junior Sydnie DeVries (Monson, Mass.) tallied five points (1-2 FG, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and a pair of assists.
- Freshman Abby Wager (Mansfield, Mass.) chipped in two points (1-6 FG), three rebounds, three blocks and a pair of steals.
- Southern New Hampshire outshot Pace, 48 percent (24-50) to 42 percent (29-69), while the Setters were better from distance, 27.8 percent (5-18) to 21.4 percent (3-14).
- The Penmen held a 71.4 percent (10-14) to 68.8 percent (11-16) edge from the stripe.
- The Penmen captured the paint (38-24), while the Setters won the glass (42-27), including 20-4 on the offensive end, scored more points off turnovers (16-11) and second chance points (24-7), received more scoring from their bench (13-7), and featured a slightly more impressive assist-to-turnover ratio (11/9-12/12).
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire had won 11 of its last 13 contests, including seven straight, as it loses for the first time since Jan. 20.
- Pace leads the all-time series with SNHU, 22-12, but the Penmen have won seven of the last 11 meetings, including three of five at home.
- The Penmen scored a 74-69 road victory back on Jan. 6 in the first regular-season meeting.
- SNHU is now 60-21 (.741) since the start of the 2021-22 season, including 28-11 (.718) at the Stan Spirou Field House.
- Timberlake snapped a streak of five consecutive games scoring 20-plus points.
