KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire opened the game with a 29-5 burst over the initial 10 minutes. All five starters contributed to the run, with Santos and Rivera leading the way with eight and seven points, respectively. Assumption hit back with a 13-3 counter-run that pulled it within 32-18 with under four minutes on the clock, but SNHU capped the half with an 8-2 flurry – powered by eight from Becht – that sent it to the locker room with a 40-20 advantage.
- Assumption would eventually whittle its deficit down to 12 at 74-62 with 5:37 remaining, but the Penmen closed the game on a 13-4 run – led by eight from Becht – to put it away.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Junior Derrick Grant Jr. (Plainfield, N.J.) scored eight points (3-6 FG, 2-2 FT) and grabbed a pair of rebounds.
- Junior Jordan Brathwaite (Silver Spring, Md.) netted six points (2-2 FG, 2-2 3-FG).
- Senior Noah Kamba (Lynn, Mass.) collected a season-best seven rebounds.
- Southern New Hampshire outshot Assumption, 56.5 percent (35-62) to 40 percent (26-65), including 44.8 percent (13-29) to 33.3 percent (10-30) from long range. SNHU also shot it better from the stripe, 88.9 percent (8-9) to 53.8 percent (7-13).
- The Penmen captured the glass (39-30) and the paint (36-24), scored more points off turnovers (16-14) and on the fast break (7-5), received more scoring from their bench (8-6) and submitted a better assist-to-turnover ratio (16/14-12/11). Second chance points were even (12-12).

- Southern New Hampshire has won three of its last five.
- The Penmen are locked in a three-way tie for fifth place in the NE10 standings with one game remaining. The top four seeds earn an NE10 Championship first round bye and a quarterfinal home game March 3.
- SNHU leads the all-time series with Assumption, 38-17, and has won 16 of the last 20 meetings, including five of seven, though Assumption has won four of the last nine. The Penmen have also won nine of the last 10, including four straight, on its home court. The last time the Greyhounds came into SNHU and won was Feb. 26, 2019 (66-60).
- The Greyhounds posted a 76-59 victory at home back on Jan. 20, as the teams have now split the regular season series for the third time in the last four seasons.
- Over his last two games, Santos is averaging 26.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 blocks per contest, while shooting 79.3 percent (23-29) from the field, including 50 percent (3-6) from deep, and making all four of his free throws.
