Cody Fleming (Plaistow, N.H.) tallied four times, but SNHU Men's Lacrosse fell 10-9 at Catawba College Wednesday afternoon in Salisbury, N.C.

KEY MOMENTS
- Catawba scored the game's three first-quarter goals, including one by Jordan Dash with just four seconds remaining in the period.
- Fleming's first goal of the game, came just 39 seconds into the second quarter, and McCormack quickly scored to pull the Penmen to within 3-2.
- Goals by freshman Ryan Lynch (Derry, N.H.), and two by Fleming put SNHU up for the first time in the contest at 5-4 at 12:38 of the third quarter.
- A goal by senior Jack Terrones (Anaheim, Calif.) tied the game, and Fleming's fourth goal with 3:42 left in the third gave the Penmen a 7-6 edge.
- McCormack tallied a man-up goal to make it 8-6 off a pass from Auger with 1:56 to play in the third.
- A man-up score for freshman Sean Dwyer (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) gave the Penmen a 9-7 lead with 13:16 to play.
- The Indians scored the final three goals of the game, including a goal by Garrett Simi with 2:21 left which proved to be the game-winner.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Catawba had a 41-36 shot advantage, including 27-15 in the first half.
- The Penmen had 29 ground balls while the Indians had 22.
- SNHU was a perfect 20-for-20 on clear attempts. Catawba was 23-for-27.
- The Penmen had 25 turnovers to 11 for Catawba.
- The Penmen had 12 turnovers and Felician had 17.
- SNHU went 2-for-6 in extra-man situations.
NOTES
- This was the first-ever meeting between the schools in men's lacrosse.
- The goals were the first of the season for Fleming, who now has 29 for his career.
- Auger leads the Penmen with 10 assists and 14 points.
- Lynch is the top goal-scorer for SNHU with seven.

- The Penmen will play one more game in North Carolina this Saturday (March 9). SNHU will meet the University of Mount Olive at noon.
