Alexis DeLucia (Uncasville, Conn.) broke the program's all-time draw controls record that stood for 12 years, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team was handed a 22-14 loss by 18th-ranked Bentley University on Wednesday night at the Bentley Turf Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A goal and an assist from Hadden guided Southern New Hampshire to an early 3-2 lead just 4:16 into the contest. Bentley, however, would score the final three goals of the opening quarter to grab a 5-3 advantage.
- The Falcons would keep it going, posting the first three goals as part of a 7-1 second stanza that ballooned their lead to 12-4.
- Renaud registered two of the first three goals of the second half to chip away at the deficit and pull the Penmen within 13-6 just 3:26 in. Bentley would respond with three straight, however, to extend the margin to an even 10 at 16-6 with 9:32 left in the third quarter. With the gap still 10 over six minutes later, SNHU ripped off four straight to end the stanza, including a pair from Hadden, and slash its deficit to 18-12.
- After Bentley ripped off three straight to begin the final frame, the Penmen potted back-to-back goals to make it 21-14 with 3:37 left, but the Falcons would add one more.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Senior Megan Petko (Monroe, N.Y.) made eight saves on 24 shots over the opening 35:29, while freshman Nicole Mirra (Cicero, N.Y.) stopped four of 10 shots in the final 24:31.
- Bentley goalkeeper Laurel Rochel stopped 11 shots.
- Graduate student Angelina Graziano (Riverhead, N.Y.) scored a pair of goals and won a draw control.
- Senior Skylar Pietz (Dudley, Mass.), junior Rachel McLaughlin (Woburn, Mass.) and senior Shelby Cole (Gilford, N.H.) also scored for the Penmen.
- Bentley outshot Southern New Hampshire, 41-27, including 23-12 in the middle two periods.
- SNHU doubled up the Falcons in draw controls (26-13), while Bentley dominated in ground balls (24-7).
- The Penmen were 11-for-15 on their clear attempts, with the Falcons going a perfect 20-for-20.
- SNHU was 3-for-5 on its free-position attempts, while Bentley went 6-for-9.
- The Penmen had 19 of the game's 25 turnovers.

- Southern New Hampshire has dropped three of its last four – all to nationally-ranked foes.
- This marked SNHU's sixth game this season against a nationally-ranked opponent.
- Bentley leads the all-time series with SNHU, 17-7, and has won 12 of the last 13 meetings. The Falcons have also won six of the last seven at home.
- DeLucia, who established a new single-game mark with 16 draw controls in Saturday's win, broke the program's all-time draw controls record of 300, set by Emily Mongeau (2009-12), with her seventh of the game. She now sits at 307 for her career.
- Hadden is tied for first in the NE10 in points (57) and third in goals (39).
