Junior Claudia Keith (Danver, Mass.) made five saves, and Southern New Hampshire women's soccer opened the season with a scoreless draw against the University of Bridgeport.  The game was part of the Queens (N.Y.) College Conference Challenge Friday afternoon.

• Keith – 5 saves
• Graduate student Alyssa Anderson (Londonderry, N.H.) – 2 shots on goal
• Junior Georgia Greene (Clifton Park, N.Y.) – 2 shots, 1 shot on goal.

KEY MOMENTS

• The Penmen had an opportunity in the 23^rd minute on a shot by Anderson that was saved by Angelina Griva of the Purple Knights.
• Griva came up with a pair of saves about 10 minutes into the second half.  Greene had the best scoring opportunity in the 58^th minute taking a pass in front of the net off a corner kick.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Griva made four saves for Bridgeport.
• Keith, who had six shutouts among her ten wins in 2023, has eight career shutouts.
• SNHU had a 4-1 advantage on corner kicks.  The Penmen committed 10 fouls to seven for the Knights.

NOTES

• SNHU is 15-4-3 against Bridgeport all-time.  The Penmen had won the previous seven meetings before today's draw.
