KEY MOMENTS
- The first half produced few opportunities for either squad, but SNHU found the net in the closing 30 seconds to take a 1-0 lead.
- Freshman Sam Torres (Schenectady, N.Y.) sent a long feed in from the left side, which caromed off a defender onto the foot of Orloff for the easy clean-up goal.
- In the 54th minute, the Penmen extended the lead to 2-0 as Schofield received a pass from Anderson for the goal.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Keith recorded her second clean sheet in two games.
- The Penmen had an 8-7 shot advantage including 5-3 on goal.
- Mercy had a 3-2 edge on corner kicks.
NOTES
- The Penmen improve to 5-3-2 against the Mavericks. SNHU won 4-1 at Penmen Stadium last season.
- The goal for Orloff was the fifth of her career while Schofield's goal was her tenth. She had nine last season to lead the Penmen.
