Kurt Watson tallied a power-play goal as SNHU tied Saint Anselm College 3-3 in Northeast-10 action Friday night at Sullivan Arena.

KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire struck first just 3:10 into the game on a goal by Marchant, who collected a deflected pass and put it in the net.
- The Hawks tied the game on a goal by Chase Reynolds at 7:19, and then took a 2-1 lead when Brendan Manning scored at 12:35 of the first period.
- SNHU converted a power-play opportunity 3:01 into the second period to make it 2-2. Nee scored off a rebound of his own shot with assists to Marchant and Flynn.
- The Hawks reclaimed the lead on a slap shot by Luke Linart at 16:04 of the second period.
- The Penmen converted a second power-play marker at 12:46 of the third period. Freshman Ryan Kayser (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) took a slap shot that sophomore Stone Devlin (W. Falmouth, Mass.) rebounded, and passed to Watson for the shot that made it 3-3.
- A major penalty on the Hawks at 17:20 of the third period gave SNHU a sixth man-up opportunity of the contest that carried into the overtime period, but Hawk goalie Cam Carroll denied the Penmen a winning score.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Berke made 32 saves including 11 in the third period.
- Carroll had 34 saves.
- SNHU finished 2-for-6 on the power-play while the Hawks were 0-for-1.
- Saint Anselm had a 45-30 advantage on face-offs.
- For the first time this season, SNHU played in a best-of-three shootout. Clear tallied for the Penmen as the second shooter, but the Hawks won the shootout 2-1. It does effect the standings with each team earning one point in the NE10 standings.
NOTES
- Saint Anselm leads the all-time series with the Penmen 43-13-3.
- The Penmen have now scored at least one power-play goal in 11 of the 14 games this season. SNHU has scored 13 power-play goals this season and allowed only four.
- This was the first of four Northeast-10 Conference games with the Hawks.
- Watson leads the Penmen with seven goals and is tied for the team lead with junior Ryan Pomposelli (Needham, Mass.) with three power-play goals.
