 KEY MOMENTS
  • Southern New Hampshire trailed by four just under four minutes into the contest when a Henderson 3-pointer sparked a 13-4 rush – led by six from Harris – that flipped it into the lead at 20-15 at the midway point of the half. A Williams triple at the 4:36 mark gave SNHU its largest lead of the frame at 29-21, while his second trey of the half with just over a minute to go sent the Penmen to the break with a 33-26 advantage.
  • SNHU opened the second half with a 10-3 blitz – powered by a pair of Williams' 3-pointers – that gave it the largest lead of the night at 43-29 just over 2:15 in. A 14-4 run from New Haven slashed its deficit to 54-51 with under nine-and-a-half minutes to go and the Penmen would never lead by more than seven again. The Chargers trailed 70-67 with under 30 seconds remaining, but Henderson made all four of his free throws down the stretch to seal it.

NOTES
  • Southern New Hampshire has now won five of its last seven, including three straight.
  • SNHU leads the all-time series with New Haven, 54-29, and has won five of the last eight meetings. The teams had alternated wins for the previous eight games, but the Penmen have now been victorious in two straight, marking the first time either team has won back-to-back games since New Haven captured three straight from 2017-19. The Chargers had won three of the last five, including two straight, at SNHU. This is the first home win for the Penmen against UNH since Jan. 10, 2023 (80-52).
  • This marks the fourth double-digit scoring game of Williams' career and surpasses the 14 points he scored at Assumption University back on Jan. 8 as the highest-scoring performance of his career.
