Senior Claudia Keith (Danvers, Mass.) made six saves, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the 19th-ranked Florida Institute of Technology on Sunday afternoon at Ouellette Stadium.

NOTES
  • The Panthers, who outshot SNHU, 10-5, including 8-2 in shots on target, scored goals in the 18th and 71st minutes.
  • SNHU has now dropped two straight for the second time this season. It marks the first time the Penmen have done that since losing back-to-back games on three occasions during the 2022 campaign.
  • The four Penmen losses this season – three of which have now come against nationally-ranked opponents – are to teams with a combined record of 12-2-7 (.738) entering the day of the matchup.
  • This marked the first meeting between the two programs.
  • Keith's six saves are the second most in a match this season.
  • SNHU is now 65-30-25 (.646) over its last 120 matches dating back to the start of the 2017 campaign.
  • The Penmen are 43-8-13 (.774) at home since the end of the 2016 season, including 34-8-11 (.745) at Ouellette Stadium, where they watch their 16-match unbeaten streak come to an end (11-0-5).
