Saint Michael's College posted the match's lone goal in the 67th minute, as it secured a 1-0 victory against the Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team Wednesday night at Duffy Field.

NOTES

• The Purple Knights outshot SNHU, 13-4, including 11-1 in the first half and 4-1 in shots on target.
• Senior Claudia Keith (Danvers, Mass.) stopped two of three shots.
• SNHU has now dropped three straight for the first time since Oct. 1-9, 2016. The Penmen have also been shut out in consecutive matches in the same season for the first time since Sept. 30-Oct. 3, 2023.
• The five Penmen losses this season – three of which have come against nationally-ranked opponents – are to teams with a combined record of 20-4-8 (.750) entering the day of the matchup.
• SNHU still leads the all-time series with Saint Michael's, 29-10-3. The Penmen are unbeaten in 12 of the last 15 meetings, though SMC is now unbeaten in four straight. The Purple Knights win at home for the third time in the last six meetings, including second straight.
• SNHU is now 65-31-25 (.640) over its last 121 matches dating back to the start of the 2017 campaign.
