KEY MOMENT
Pomposelli evened the score midway through the first period when he converted a feed from junior Ryan Kayser (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) and freshman Darby McCarthy (Whitefish, Mont.) during a power play at 11:05. The Hawks responded late in the frame with a power-play goal of their own and carried that momentum through the second, scoring four times to pull away.
