Female Athlete of the Week: Meghan Gordon - Women's Basketball - Sr., F
Meghan Gordon (Attleboro, Mass.) averaged 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steal, while shooting 46.4 percent (13-28) from the floor and 75 percent (3-4) from the stripe, during a 1-1 week for women's basketball. Gordon tallied 15 points (7-17 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in a 68-55 win over Post University on Friday. She again scored 15 (6-11 FG, 1-3 3-FG, 2-2 FT) and corralled seven boards in Saturday's 78-66 loss to Felician University.

Male Athlete of the Week: Ugo Nwachukwu - Men's Basketball - Sr., F
Ugo Nwachukwu (Imo State, Nigeria) posted 18.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 71.4 percent (15-21) from the field, including 5-for-7 from 3-point range, during a 1-1 week for men's basketball. He notched a double-double of 25 points (10-14 FG, 4-4 3-FG, 1-5 FT) and 13 rebounds in a 91-83 season-opening win at Caldwell University on Friday, and then recorded 12 points (5-7 FG, 1-3 3-FG, 1-2 FT), seven boards and two steals in a 90-76 loss to Dominican (N.Y.) University on Saturday.

Jojo Wallace - Men's Basketball - So., G
Jojo Wallace (Milford, Conn.) recorded 21.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.0 steal for men's hoop, shooting 37.5 percent (15-40) from the field and 83.3 percent (10-12) from the line. He poured in 24 points (9-22 FG, 2-4 3-FG, 4-6 FT) to go with six rebounds and two assists in the Caldwell victory, scoring 18 in the second half. Wallace then paced the Penmen with 18 points (6-18 FG, 6-6 FT), while collecting three rebounds, against Dominican.

T.J. Morris - Men's Basketball - Sr., F
T.J. Morris (Jamaica, N.Y.) tallied 18.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals, while knocking down 43.8 percent (14-32) of his shots. He totaled up 20 points (8-16 FG, 2-6 3-FG, 2-5 FT), six boards, two assists and three steals against the Cougars, before adding 16 points (6-16 FG, 1-3 3-FG, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and a pair of assists versus the Chargers.

Ava Winterburn - Women's Basketball - Jr., G/F
Ava Winterburn (New Boston, N.H.) registered 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block, while shooting 37 percent (10-27) from the field, including 38.9 percent (7-18) from deep, and 85.7 percent (6-7) from the stripe for women's hoop. Winterburn opened the season with 14 points (4-11 FG, 3-7 3-FG, 3-3 FT) and five rebounds against Post, before scoring a career-high 19 points (6-16 FG, 4-11 3-FG, 3-4 FT) to go with four boards and two assists versus Felician.

Collin Berke - Men's Ice Hockey - Jr., G
Collin Berke (Crofton, Md.) stopped 48 of the 53 shots he faced during an 0-1-1 week for men's ice hockey. Berke racked up 30 saves in Friday's 1-1 tie with Saint Anselm College, before turning away 18 of 22 in the first period-and-a-half of Saturday's 9-1 loss to the Hawks.

Kurt Watson - Men's Ice Hockey - Sr., F
Kurt Watson (London, Ont.) scored the lone Penmen goal in Friday's tie, striking at 4:56 of the second period to give SNHU a 1-0 lead.
