- Marshall smacked a two-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put SNHU up 5-2.
- The Penmen led 6-3 in the top of the eighth, putting together three consecutive singles by junior Chris Leone (Newton, N.J.), Albert, and Colon.
- The Warriors tied the game in the bottom of the ninth inning with a sacrifice fly and a two-out, two-run double by Jack Rothenhausler.
- Ryan Manning, a freshman, homered off SNHU graduate student Cam Varney (Manchester, N.H.) leading off the bottom of the 21st.

NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire, ranked 11th in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II Top 25, 15th in the D2 Baseball Top 25 Rankings, and 21st in the APBA, has dropped three consecutive games for the first time since April 20-21, 2024.
- East Stroudsburg also appears in the polls, coming in 12th in this week's D2 Baseball Rankings, #16 in the NCBWA poll, and also receiving votes in the APBA poll.
- East Stroudsburg leads the all-time series with the Penmen 6-2, including five straight.
- Records are somewhat incomplete for a program that dates back to the mid-1960's. SNHU does a show a 16-inning win over Merrimack on April 25, 2004, but nothing longer.
- This would appear to be the second-longest game played in NCAA Division II history- with a contest in 1964 between Kentucky Wesleyan and Oakland City taking 22 innings to complete (thanks for East Stroudsburg for the research).
UP NEXT
- Friday's second game of the scheduled doubleheader was postponed until Saturday when the teams will meet up for a doubleheader starting at Noon.
