  • Lendrum allowed two runs on six hits in his seven-inning complete game - his first win over the season.  He did not walk a batter and struck out seven.
  • Risedorf homered to give the Penmen a 1-0 lead in the second inning.

  • Lavigne knocked a two-run single for SNHU in the top of the sixth to extend the lead to 6-0.
  • East Stroudsburg answered with a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning on a triple by Parker Frey.
GAME 2:  ESU 5, SNHU 2 (9 innings)
  • SNHU opened the scoring on a sacrifice fly by sophomore Joel Valera (Boston, Mass.) in the top of the third inning for a 1-0 lead after the Penmen had loaded the bases on walks.
  • Shanley Wall tied the game with a single for East Stroudsburg in the bottom of the third inning.
  • In the top of the seventh, the Penmen pushed ahead 2-1 on a single by Marshall that drove in Colon, who had singled.
