HOW IT HAPPENED
- Pietz scored the game's first goal just 1:15 into the contest off a feed from Hadden.
- Goals by Hadden and McLaughlin pushed the Penmen into a 3-2 lead.
- The Chargers responded with a 14-1 run over the next 27 minutes of game time to take a 15-4 lead. Caitlin Seleny scored four times in that stretch including a pair of man-up goals.
- The Penmen would outscore New Haven 6-2 over the final 25 minutes.
- SNHU received two late goals from Bosselman, two from Redding, one from Hadden, and one from sophomore Camdyn Swain (N. Falmouth, Mass.).
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Penmen opened with sophomore Nicole Mirra (Cicero, N.Y.) in goal, and freshman Corrina Moulton (Barre, Vt.) made eight saves over the final 35 minutes.
- The Chargers had a 34-27 shot advantage, and won ground balls 13-11.
- New Haven converted a pair of free position shots while the Penmen had one.
- Draw controls favored SNHU 16-12.
- SNHU received five cards and the Chargers committed two.
- Katie Schenk (3 goals, 4 assists) topped the Chargers and Lindsey Belmonte and Seleny scored four times and had an assist.

- New Haven has a 14-3 lead in the all-time series with wins in 13 of the last 14 contests including three straight.
