Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis dropped its match with Boston College Tuesday 7-0. It was the final tune-up before key Northeast-10 matches for the Penmen.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Senior Cade Nadeau (Quispamsis, New Brunswick) had a competitive match at No. 1 singles, falling 7-5, 6-2 to Caleb Saltz
- Saltz and Liam O'Leary defeated Nadeau and sophomore Jaden Williams (Green Acres, Fla.) at No. 1 doubles 6-4.
NOTES
- Williams competed at No. 2 singles, falling to Mai Gao.
- The Eagles won at No. 3 singles with Jake Vassel defeating sophomore Albert Modol (Lleida, Spain).
- Junior Phillipp Roeder (Aystetten, Germany) fell to Aidan Pack at No. 4 singles.
- The Eagles also won at No. 5 and No. 6. Freshman Marcos Castaneda (Madrid, Spain) played at No. 5 and sophomore Carlos Molero (Barcelona, Spain) was at No. 6 Tuesday.
- Southern New Hampshire has dropped its last five matches.
- Boston College, a Div. I program that competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference, has won all eight meetings with SNHU dating back to 2014.
