Jorge Burgos (Santo Domingo, D.R.) homered with four RBIs as SNHU Baseball won its fifth straight, 22-5, at Saint Anselm College on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wachter hit a three-run homer in the top of the first inning.
- The Hawks responded with three runs in the bottom of the inning including a two-run single by Jackson Powers.
- SNHU would score nine times in the top of the second inning.
- Risedorf had an RBI single, Wachter ripped a two-run double, Pisano drove in two runs with a single, Lavigne had a two-run single, and senior Jancarlos Colon (Santa Isabel, P.R.) had a sacrifice fly.
- The Penmen extended the lead to 16-3 in the fourth, scoring on a single by sophomore Ruben Fernandez (Providence, R.I.), a two-run single by Risedorf, and a fielders choice RBI for Wachter.
- Sophomore Jacob Albert (Pelham, N.H.) had a two-run triple in the top of the seventh and Burgos had a sacrifice fly.
- Burgos smacked a three-run homer in the top of the ninth.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Five pitchers worked for the Penmen with freshman Angel Baez (Leominster, Mass.) picking up the win. He worked five innings in his start, allowing nine hits and five runs.
- Freshman Garrett Hammer (Auburn, N.H.), senior Noah Wachter (Concord, N.H.), freshman Kaleb Fiscus (Huntington Beach, Calif.), and sophomore Jack Davis (LaGrangeville, N.Y.) each worked one scoreless inning in relief.
- The Penmen had 17 hits including two doubles, a triple, and two homers. The Hawks compiled 10 hits.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire, receiving votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II Top 25, has won five-in-a-row.
- The Penmen hold a 73-35 edge all-time against Saint Anselm including four of five this season. SNHU has won 11 of the last 12 with the Hawks.
- Burgos homered for the second time in three days, giving him four for the season and 25 for his career.
- Wachter's home run was his ninth of 2025, and his 40 RBI's are second on the team.
- Freshman Jackson Marshall (Hooksett, N.H.) went 0-for-4 to end an 11-game hit streak. He drew a hit-by-pitch for the 13th time this season.
- Pisano has hit safely in nine of the ten games he has played in this season.
- Colon has a hit in 29 of his 33 games this year, including eight of his last nine and five straight.
