Despite outpacing Saint Anselm in both shots and ground balls, SNHU couldn't convert momentum into a win, falling short 17-6.

- SNHU's first goal came from a free position shot by Hadden in the first period.
- Pietz scored two straight goals for SNHU to cut the deficit to 5–3 in the second period.
- In the third period, SNHU scored twice with goals by McLaughlin and Bosselman, but the Hawks dominated the period with 6 goals.
- Late in the fourth period, Bosselman added a goal for SNHU, her second of the game.
