- A Michael Quiros homer in the third gave the Ravens a 5-0 lead.

- After FPU nudged the lead to 6-3 in the top of the fourth, the Penmen scored twice in the home half, including an RBI single from junior Kyle Lavigne (Bedford, N.H.), to pull within 6-5. An infield single in the sixth from Fernandez plated a run and tied the game.
- It was all Franklin Pierce from there, however, snapping the tie in the seventh, adding two more in the eighth and three in the ninth.

- Marshall and Pisano hit back-to-back solo shots in the fourth to stretch the advantage to 12-5.
- Two more in the fifth made it 14-5, before Valera hit a solo home run to center to lead off the sixth and junior Steven Kienzle (Holbrook, N.Y.) followed two batters later with a two-run no-doubter to left that brought the score to 17-5.

- The Penmen are now tied with Bentley University in second place in the NE10 Northeast Division, just one game back of first-place Franklin Pierce. SNHU will earn at least a share of the Northeast Division crown for the eighth straight season with a win, but will also need Bentley to lose to Saint Michael's College to claim the No. 1 seed and a home game in the first round of the NE10 Championship on Tuesday (May 6). Any other scenario and SNHU will drop to the No. 3 seed and go on the road in the first round to take on Bentley.

SNHU had won 14 of 16, including six-in-a-row, entering the day. The Penmen have also captured 16 of 21 at home, including eight of the last 10 and four of five.
- Wachter's two home runs give him a team-high 15 on the season and 24 for his career, moving him into sole possession of third place on the all-time list. Wachter is also second on the single-season list and needs five more to break the mark.
- Wachter also moved into fifth place on the program's career RBI list (123).
- Marshall's long-ball was his 14th of the season, extending his rookie record and moving him into a third-place tie on the single-season list.
- Pisano went deep for the third time this year and 11th time in his career.
- Valera's homer was his fourth of the season and fifth of his career.
- Kienzle's first home run this season is the third of his career.
- Trumpour became the 11th member of the program to reach the 200-strikeout plateau and now sits in 10th all-time (203).
- Varney had not thrown more than three-and-a-third innings or struck out more than four batters in any game this season.
