NO. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Southern New Hampshire University had nine of its spring student-athletes recognized with NE10 Academic All-Conference honors Monday.
Senior Jack Pepin (Plaistow, N.H.), an NE10 Academic All-Conference selection back in 2023, was one of six men's golfers to receive the honor. Pepin, who was selected to the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) PING NCAA Division II East All-Region Team, NE10 All-Conference First Team and College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large Team, played in nine events and averaged a 73.5 over his 24 rounds, coming in just over the average par of 71. Pepin broke 70 five times during the season, including in the biggest moments, as he fired a 67 at the NE10 Championship on Oct. 7 and again at the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championship on May 9. Pepin finished in the top 10 five times and the top five on three occasions, including at the NE10 Championships when he tied for first with a 4-over 214, but lost on the third playoff hole. Pepin was ninth at the NCAA Regional with a 7-over 223 and narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA National Championship by one spot. He is a mechanical engineering major with a 3.64 grade-point average (GPA).
Senior Cade Nadeau (Quispamsis, New Brunswick) and junior Phillipp Roeder (Aystetten, Germany) nabbed two of the six men's tennis slots. Nadeau was an NE10 Second Team selection at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles. The two-time NE10 Player of the Week (Oct. 8, April 15) went 10-11 on the year in singles play, including 6-4 in NE10 action – all at the top flight. Nadeau was 15-6 in doubles play, including 6-3 in the league. He was pursuing his MBA with a concentration in sport business and posted a 3.92 GPA.
Roeder, who was an NE10 First Team pick at No. 2 doubles, was 9-11 in singles, including 6-4 in conference action. In doubles, he was 8-11, as well as 7-3 in NE10 play. Roeder was an economics and finance major with minors in information technology and business analytics, and compiled a 3.93 GPA.
Senior Jordyn Resetar (Hanover, Pa.) and junior Peyton Feldman (Foxboro, Mass.) claimed two of the 17 softball spots. Resetar, a sport management major with a 3.84 GPA, adds to her list of accolades from the 2025 season that includes National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) East All-Region Second Team, NE10 All-Conference First Team and CSC Academic All-District Team. Resetar, who started all 45 games for the Penmen, led the team with a .360 batting average (58-161), while recording 24 extra-base hits, including four home runs, 22 RBI and 25 runs scored, and slashing .393/.565/.958. She led the NE10 in doubles, while ranking fourth in hits, sixth in batting and slugging, seventh in OPS, 10th in home runs and 15th in runs scored.
Feldman, a biology major and nutrition minor with a 3.82 GPA, receives the award for the second straight season. An NE10 All-Conference First Team and CSC Academic All-District selection for a second consecutive year, Feldman started all 45 contests and batted .287 (41-143) with a home run, 17 RBI and 42 runs scored, while walking 29 times to bolster a .411 on-base percentage. She also made only a pair of errors in 92 chances for a .978 fielding percentage. Feldman paced the NE10 in walks, while placing second in runs scored and 11th in OBP.
Junior Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) and sophomore Kayla Franks (Derry, N.H.) were two of the 16 women's outdoor track & field selections. Sinclair earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) East All-Region accolades in both the 100- and 200-meter dash. Sinclair competed in seven meetings, notching five total wins. She finished third at the NE10 Championships in the 100 (12.14) and 200 (24.95), as well as fifth in the 4x400 (4:03.71) and sixth in the 4x100 (49.18). Sinclair is a justice studies major with a concentration in crime and criminology, and owns a 3.71 GPA.
Franks, an education major with a 3.91 GPA, was USTFCCCA East All-Region in the javelin. She competed in eight meets, finishing in the top three in the javelin on seven occasions, including a win at the Central Connecticut State Invitational on April 25 (36.98m). Franks finished third in the javelin at the NE10 Championships (40.33).
Graduate student Skylar Pietz (Dudley, Mass.) was one of 14 from women's lacrosse to collect the honor. She started all 17 games and amassed 24 goals, four assists, 28 points, 32 grounds balls, 24 caused turnovers and 36 draw controls, en route to receiving NE10 All-Conference Third Team honors. Pietz, a public health major with a perfect 4.0 GPA, also landed a spot on the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team.
Sophomore Kyle Beckett (Monroe, Conn.) received one of 13 men's lacrosse nods. He played in all 14 games, including 11 starts, as he tallied nine goals and six assists for 15 points. Beckett is a computer science major with a 3.82 GPA.
To be eligible for selection to NE10 Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded the following minimum requirements:
- Started in at least half or played in at least two-thirds of the team's competitions as a significant contributor.
- Achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) or better on a 4.0 scale.
