The Southern New Hampshire University field hockey team, ranked No. 8 nationally in the NFHCA Preseason Poll, extended its win streak to three with a 5-0 shutout of Saint Michael's College on Monday evening at Larkin Field.

KEY MOMENT
Junior Zoe Demers (Manchester, N.H.) delivered her second goal of the match in the 47th minute, pushing the SNHU lead to 4-0 and putting the game firmly out of reach. The tally, assisted by freshman Kim Dull (Wilnis, Netherlands), capped a dominant all-around performance.   
  NOTES
·  Freshman Sophie Bilodeau (Milford, N.H.) opened the scoring just 2:53 into play, finishing off a setup from Dull.
·  Freshman Addi Roy (Ashburnham, Mass.) doubled the lead at 11:14 with her first-quarter goal, assisted by Bilodeau.
·  Demers tallied her first goal of the day in the second quarter, assisted by junior Amelia Crocombe (Somerset, England), before adding her second in the fourth.
·  Dull capped the scoring in the 50th minute with her first career goal, with an assist to junior Jade Hendriks (Huissen, Netherlands).
·  Freshman goalkeeper Agustina Miranda Waigand (Miami, Fla.) picked up the win (3-2) with one save in 30 minutes.   Freshman Margaux de Bievre (Amsterdam, Netherlands) played the final 30 minutes.
·  SNHU dominated statistically, holding a 41-2 advantage in shots and an 8-1 edge in penalty corners.
·  Saint Michael's goalkeeper Joelle Cameron turned in a 18-save performance.
 - The Penmen have won three straight vs. the Purple Knights and lead the all-time series 13-6.
  - Although the teams are conference rivals, this was a non-conference meeting.  The Northeast 10 game will be played in Colchester, Vt. on Oct. 8.
