The Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team earned its first Northeast 10 Conference win of the season with a 2-0 shutout of American International College on Tuesday evening at Mark A. Ouellette Stadium. The Penmen scored both of their goals in the opening 36 minutes and leaned on a strong defensive effort and a clean sheet from senior goalkeeper

Imogen Noon (Gold Coast, Australia) struck in the 13th minute, converting a setup from senior
Georgia Greene (Clifton Park, N.Y.) to put SNHU ahead 1-0.
NOTES
- The goal for Noon was her second of the season.
- Freshman Jillian Collins (Wilmington, Mass.) doubled the lead in the 36th minute with her first collegiate goal, scoring off the rebound of a Noon shot.
- Keith made three saves in net to record the shutout, her second of the season, and 19th of her career. That moves her into fourth place on the all-time program list.
- SNHU held a 10-8 edge in shots while the Yellow Jackets had a 4-2 edge on corner kicks.
- The Penmen collected its first conference victory after drawing its league opener with SCSU on Saturday.
- SNHU leads the all-time series with AIC 22-10-4 and the Penmen have won four consecutive home games with the Yellow Jackets.
- The Penmen are 65-28-25 (.657) over their last 118 matches dating back to the start of the 2017 campaign.
