The Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team began their Florida trip with a 7-0 loss to Davenport University on Sunday at the United States Tennis Association National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
NOTES
- SNHU saw its five-match winning streak come to an end.
- Freshmen Eyglo Armannsdottir (Reykjavik, Iceland) and Lucia Dusseljee (Helmond, Netherlands) forced a tiebreaker at No. 3 doubles, eventually losing to Lotte Federski and Amy Bloch, 7-6 (7-3).
- Freshman Megan Leck (Wolviston, Billingham, U.K.) battled against Sienna Opray at No. 3 singles, dropping a 6-3, 2-6, 10-3 decision.
- Dusseljee also went to three sets against Addison Lind at No. 6 singles, falling 5-7, 6-4, 10-2.
- This was the first meeting between the two programs.
