ATLANTA – The Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team has once again been recognized for its academic excellence, earning a spot on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division II Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll. The Penmen posted the 20th-best grade-point average (GPA) in the nation for the 2024-25 academic year.
With a stellar 3.713 team GPA, SNHU led both the East Region and the Northeast 10 Conference, demonstrating its continued commitment to success in the classroom. St. Cloud State topped the Division II list with a GPA of 3.892.
This marks the fifth time in the past nine seasons that Southern New Hampshire has been named to the Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll. The Penmen improved on last year's 24th-place finish, achieving their highest national ranking since placing 16th in 2020.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 annually recognizes women's basketball programs across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, and two-year colleges that maintain the highest combined GPAs. Rankings include all student-athletes on a team's roster for the entire academic year. The 2024-25 season marks the 30th year the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
