Aurel Creveuil (Nanterre, France) of the Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team was selected as the NE10 Rookie of the Week for the period ending March 15, the league office announced Tuesday.
Creveuil, who also received the honor March 3, went 1-1 during an 0-1 week for the Penmen, as they lost to #19 Queens (N.Y.) College, 5-2, Friday. Creveuil outlasted Tim Andersson, 6-7 (3-7), 6-4, 11-9, at No. 2 singles and was handed a 6-3 defeat at No. 2 doubles.
Creveuil, who joined SNHU for the second semester this year, is 3-3 in singles play so far and 6-1 in doubles action.
