HIGHLIGHTS
- A solo home run staked Bentley to a 1-0 lead in the fourth, before Southern New Hampshire took the lead with a pair in the sixth. With two outs, junior Brody Keneston (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) drew a walk, stole second and scored to tie the game on Cisco's RBI single. After Cisco moved to second on a wild pitch, he scored the go-ahead run on a base hit up the middle by senior Jake Pisano (Hamden, Conn.).
- The Falcons tied it in the seventh on an RBI fielder's choice ground out and eventually won it in the 10th on an RBI single that brought home an unearned run.
- Pisano finished 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.
- Cisco was 1-for-2 with a pair of walks, an RBI and a run scored.
- Freshman Zak Whitney (Keene, N.H.) turned in a third consecutive stellar start, as he allowed two runs on eight hits over seven-and-two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking two.
- Junior Jack Davis (LaGrangeville, N.Y.) was tagged with the loss, falling to 2-2, after giving up one run – unearned – on two hits over an inning-and-two-thirds. He fanned three and did not walk a batter.
- In his last three starts, Whitney is 2-0 with a 1.25 ERA, as he has relinquished just three earned runs on 18 hits over 21-and-two-thirds innings, striking out 31 and walking three.
