NE10 Honors Four From Ice Hockey

Lynch, Kayser Named All-Conference Second Team

NO. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Two members of the Southern New Hampshire ice hockey team were named to the Northeast 10 All-Conference Second Team, while two others earned spots on the All-Rookie Team, as the conference announced its award winners Thursday afternoon.

For the second consecutive season, sophomore Ryan Kayser (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) was named to the Second Team, joined by senior Brendan Lynch (Nepean, Ont.). Lynch finished as the team's leading scorer for the third straight season and concluded his SNHU career with 93 points on 27 goals and 66 assists. Kayser recorded 15 points from the blue line, totaling five goals and 10 assists.

Freshmen Aidan Rufa (Massena, N.Y.) and Zach Vickerman (Queensville, Ont.) represented the Penmen on the All-Rookie Team. Vickerman ranked second on the team in scoring with 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists), while Rufa added 13 points (six goals, seven assists).

The Penmen wrapped up the season with a 9-17-1 overall record and a 5-14-1 mark in Northeast 10 play. SNHU pushed Saint Anselm to overtime in the Northeast 10 Championship First Round before falling, 5-4.
