Redshirt-sophomore Mazie Burt (Waterford, Vt.) scored a pair of goals, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team was handed a 20-6 loss by 13th-ranked Adelphi University on Saturday at Motamed Field.
KEY MOMENTS
- Goals by senior Brynn Goulet (Tyngsboro, Mass.) and freshman Ella Lampron (Plaistow, N.H.) kept Southern New Hampshire close at 3-2 a little more than six minutes into the contest, before Adelphi would tack on a pair to take a 5-2 lead after one.
- Freshman Abby Bouffard (Biddeford, Maine) opened the second-quarter scoring just 37 seconds in, but the Panthers scored the final five to balloon their lead to 10-3 at the half.
- Burt would score a goal in each of the final two frames, but Adelphi duplicated their 10-3 first half in the second to win handily.

- Southern New Hampshire has lost three-in-a-row for the first time this year, with all three losses coming against nationally-ranked foes.
