- Armannsdottir and Leck began doubles play with a 6-1 victory over Laurence Bosmans and Marie Knispel at No. 2.
- Assumption tied doubles when Mia Monje and Beren Vapur edged junior Nadya Lyekontseva (Kyiv, Ukraine) and freshman Lucia Dusseljee (Helmond, Netherlands), 7-5, at No. 3. The Greyhounds won the point at the top flight, with Marian Aguirre and Darja Trinerova outlasting junior Dajana Abadzic (Weinstadt, Germany) and sophomore Lois Tsui (Amsterdam, Netherlands), 7-6 (7-4).
NOTES
- SNHU had now won eight of its last 10, including six-in-a-row.
- The Penmen dip to 18-17 (.514) all-time in the NE10 Championship. This was the first postseason meeting between the two teams.
- Abadzic and Tsui, ranked 46th in the nation by the ITA, have dropped two straight after winning nine-in-a-row.
- The Penmen hold a 19-8 advantage in the all-time series and have won 19 of the last 23 meetings, including six of the last nine, despite the Greyhounds winning two the last three.
