- Bridgeport led, 4-2, with 12:01 left on the clock when junior Eduard Fandunyan (Manchester, N.H.) found the back of the net to slice the Southern New Hampshire deficit in half.
- Burusco was then awarded a penalty kick with 1:29 to go and converted to knot the match, 4-4.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire, ranked fourth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Top 25, is 4-0-2 for the third time in four years, including for the second straight season.
- The Penmen move to 22-7-3 all-time against Bridgeport and are unbeaten in 19 of their last 20 (17-1-2), including 10 straight (8-0-2). SNHU is also unbeaten in five straight (4-0-1) at Bridgeport, which has not defeated the Penmen at home since Oct. 28, 2009 (1-0) – the last Purple Knights win in the series.
