Megan Leck (Newcastle, England) only lost one game in her two victories, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team toppled Gordon College, 7-0, Tuesday at the Brigham Athletic Complex.
KEY MOMENTS
- SNHU was in front, 2-0, when Leck defeated Serena Ross, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 3 singles. She also teamed with fellow sophomore Eyglo Armannsdottir (Reykjavik, Iceland) for a 6-0 blanking of Ross and Amanda Kim that clinched the doubles point at the second flight.
- Junior Lois Tsui (Amsterdam, Netherlands) clinched the match at No. 2 singles with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Chloe Hanley. Tsui and senior Dajana Abadzic (Weinstadt, Germany) kicked off doubles with a 6-1 triumph over Lucille Belval and Makayla Otey at the top flight.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire improves to 4-0 for the fourth time in the last six years.
- This was the first meeting between the two programs.
