Inigo Burusco (Pamplona, Spain) added two more tallies, as the 21st-ranked Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team cruised to a 7-2 victory over Thomas Jefferson University on Saturday.
KEY MOMENT
- After an opening 15-plus minutes that saw Jefferson hold its own against the hosts, the Penmen finally broke through at the 18:47 mark with a goal by freshman Dani Bujanda (Pamplona, Spain) off a corner kick. Burusco then followed with goals just 3:05 apart to make it 3-0 in the 27th minute.

- Southern New Hampshire, ranked 21st in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Top 25, is 3-0-1 for the third time in four seasons.
- Southern New Hampshire improves to 3-1-0 all-time versus Jefferson, including 2-0-0 at home. The two teams have now met in four straight seasons.
- Fifth year Alvaro Garcia (Barcelona, Spain) stopped all three shots he faced over the opening 60:54 of action. Sophomore Josh Hancock (Windham, Maine) made one save over the final 29:06.

- Senior Charlie Preus (London, U.K.) notched a goal and an assist. The goal was his first of the season and 10th of his career.

- Sophomore Noah Lakhdari (Concord, N.H.) found the back of the net in the 90th minute for his first career tally.
- SNHU is 165-42-30 (.759) over its last 237 matches dating back to the beginning of the 2013 National Championship season. The Penmen are also 37-6-7 (.810) in their last 50 matches dating back to 2023.
- The Penmen improve to 112-16-18 (.829) over their last 146 contests at home, including 50-9-11 (.793) at Ouellette Stadium. SNHU is now 21-2-3 (.865) at home over its last three seasons and is unbeaten in 20 of its last 21 at Ouellette (17-1-3).
