2011: One of three players to start all 22 games…Northeast-10 First Team All-Conference selection and Daktronics Second Team All-Region selection…selected to compete in the NEISL Senior All-Star Game…anchored a defense that posted 12 shutouts in 22 games and posted a 0.63 team goals-against average…tied for fourth on the team with four assists…had assists in wins over Saint Michael’s (9/27), Post (10/5), Bentley (10/11) and UMass Lowell (10/19)...finished his career as the program’s all-time leader in games played (86).

2010: Northeast-10 Second Team selection...one of three Penmen to start all 20 games…served as a fixture on a backline that posted 13 shutouts in 20 games and allowed just nine goals on the season…recorded his first collegiate goal in a 3-0 victory over Assumption (10/2).

2009: One of four Penmen to start in all 22 games on the season...helped anchor a backline that held opponents to just 13 goals...finished the year with three assists...had one assist in back-to-back wins over American International (9/19) and UMass Lowell (9/23).

2008: Played in 22 games and started 20 on a defense that posted 15 shutouts and led Division II in goals-against average (0.39)...named to the Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team...registered assists in wins over Saint Thomas Aquinas (9/6), American International (9/27), Assumption (10/8) and Franklin Pierce (10/14).

BEFORE SNHU/PERSONAL: 2007 graduate of Ludlow HS and 2008 graduate of Avon Old Farms...helped lead AOF to a 16-1-2 record and the NEPSAC Class A title in 2007...First Team All-Western Mass. as a senior at Ludlow...helped the Lions to a pair of Western Mass. title games...team captain as a senior...also participated in tennis and swimming at LHS...played club soccer for Oakwood Soccer Club...son of Jay and Kelly Kapinos...twin brother Joey also plays for SNHU...brother Matt was a two-time All-Conference soccer player at Elms College...high school teammate of current SNHU player Michael Adam...undeclared major.
