David Wiedenfeld

David Wiedenfeld joined the SNHU lacrosse coaching staff in the Summer of 2024. Prior to coaching at SNHU, he was the Varsity Head Lacrosse Coach at Londonderry High School for 2 seasons and coached the Senior NH Lacrosse All-Star Game. Wiedenfeld has coached club lacrosse for 8 years with the NH Tomahawks and currently is the head coach of the NH Tomahawks 2028 purple squad.

Before coaching, Wiedenfeld played 3 seasons at Keene State College. He was a multiple All-Conference selected player while leading the Little East Conference in points his final season for the Owls. He broke the single game and single season assist record at Keene State and was on pace to break the career assist record until the 2020 season was cancelled due to Covid-19. In 2020, Wiedenfeld was named Keene State College's Male Athlete of the Year and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education.  

In 2021, Coach Wiedenfeld joined the Penmen to play his last season of Lacrosse. During that season he was selected to the NE-10 All conference team, NEILA All-New England team, NEILA All-Academic team, participated in the NEILA East West Senior All Star Game and lead the Penmen in points on the season. He graduated with a Master's in Sports Management.

Coach Wiedenfeld is looking forward to the upcoming spring and believes this will be an exciting season for the Men's Lacrosse team.
