Ross Mondello

Ross Mondello joined the Southern New Hampshire men’s lacrosse program in the winter of 2024.  He is currently the defensive coordinator for the Penman.  
 
Coach Mondello also coaches for the New Hampshire Tomahawks Lacrosse Club.  The Tomahawks are a well-known club program based out of southern New Hampshire.  In his fourteen years with the New Hampshire Tomahawks, Coach Mondello has worked with all levels from beginner to High School players.  Mondello assists with evaluating, skill development and training, and coaching various club teams. 
 
Before arriving at Southern New Hampshire University, Mondello spent the 2016-2019 season as the offensive coordinator at New England College.  In his time as offensive coordinator, he helped lead the Pilgrims to four consecutive conference championships and appeared in four straight NCAA Tournament appearances.  In 2018 and 2019, the New England College Pilgrims would win two first-round games for the first time in program history.  While working with the offense, he helped mentor the 2016, 2017, and 2018 Conference Player of the Year, as well as the 2017 and 2018 Conference Rookie of the Year.  He also helped coach sixteen All-Conference players in his four years on the sideline for the Pilgrims.  Other responsibilities while coaching at New England College included recruiting, breaking down film, developing scouting reports, running the box, and working with the face-off unit.
 
Coach Mondello has over ten years of coaching at the college level, as well as coaching for seven years as a Varsity Head Coach at the high school level.
 
Mondello spent his playing career at New England College.  While playing for the Pilgrims, Mondello won two Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships and participated in two NCAA Tournament games.  He was selected as an All-Conference player his senior year and accumulated over 100 points for his career.
 
A native of Levittown, NY, Mondello earned his BA in Elementary Education and MS in Sports Management from New England College.
 
He resides in Bow, New Hampshire with his wife Alicia, son Jayden, and daughter Lily.
