Aly Hinton joined the SNHU women’s basketball staff prior to the 2014-15 academic year.

Prior to coming to SNHU, Hinton, a native of Richboro, Pa., played professionally from 2010-14 in Israel. During her four years, she was a member of three championship teams, capturing First Division titles with Elizur Ramla in 2010-11 and M.S. Ashdod, Israel in 2013-14, as well as a Second Division crown with Hapoel Galil Elyon, Israel in 2011-12. Hinton also played for the Israeli National Team in 2012.

A graduate of Boston University, Hinton played four seasons for the Terriers, totaling 1,074 points and 711 rebounds over her four seasons, making her one of just four players in program history with at least 1000 points and 700 rebounds at the conclusion of her career.  She is also the program leader in games played with 126.  A two-time America East Academic Honor Roll member, Hinton was a member of the league’s All-Rookie Team in 2007.

Hinton graduated from BU in 2009 with a B.A. in Psychology, and went on to earn her Masters in Education, Counseling with a specialization in Sport Psychology in 2010.  She has worked numerous basketball camps and is the founder of PrimeTime Performance, which creates and delivers programs to athletes to improve mental acuity and increase performance.
