Southern New Hampshire University

Matt Bynon joined the SNHU women's volleyball program as an assistant coach in April 2017.

Bynon arrived in Manchester following two seasons at UMass Lowell, where he served as defensive coordinator and was in charge of video breakdown for the Division I River Hawks. Bynon also played a large role in recruiting and game day preparation.

Prior to his stint in Lowell, Bynon was the top assistant at Division III powerhouse Rivier University for the men's volleyball team. In his three seasons with the squad, Rivier racked up three conference titles and was ranked in the top 10, nationally, each season.

Bynon has also directed the Mill City Volleyball Club since 2014 and was the the Windham (N.H.) High School varsity boys' volleyball coach from 2015-17.

Bynon graduated with his bachelor's degree in liberal arts from Rivier in 2014.
