Connecticut (10/25)…she also posted 33 service aces, with a .22 service aces per set, good for fifth in the conference…on three occasions she posted four service aces, and she also added three kills on the season.

2012: Played in every match, appeared in all but one set on the season while starting 18 times…totaled 120 kills in 459 attempts to compile a .131 hitting percentage…posted a career-high 11 kills versus Virginia Union (9/1)…ranked third on the squad with 269 digs including a career-high 24 against Pace (11/2)…totaled a team-high 50 service aces on the season including five versus Saint Michael’s (9/25)…registered 22 assists…added seven blocks.

BEFORE SNHU/PERSONAL: 2012 graduate of Hesperia High School where she lettered in volleyball…served as captain her senior year…was named the best all around player under head coach Cynthia McGraa and earned first team All-League honors in her senior season…captured MVP honors her junior and senior year and best defensive player player her sophomore year…as a senior she totaled 120 kills, 360 digs, 26 aces, and 15 blocks…named to the Principal’s Honor Roll and Dean’s List…born Maeghan Mckenna Higgins…daughter of Matthew Higgins and Jaime Sessler…brother Josh plays soccer at Victory Valley College…Justice Studies major.
