WOODBRIDGE, Conn. - The Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team swept University of New Haven 9-0 Saturday afternoon in Northeast-10 action at Woodbridge High School. The Penmen improve to 2-0 overall and in the league, while the Chargers are now 0-5 overall and in NE-10 play.
The Penmen took a pair of doubles wins and five singles victories as UNH did not field players at No. 3 doubles or No. 6 singles. With the win, SNHU extends its' NE-10 regular season win streak to 19 matches and its overall regular season win streak to 17 matches.
SNHU travels to Le Moyne Sunday.
