ALBANY, N.Y.—Sophomore Kasey
Morrison (Hampton, N.H.) notched her first collegiate
goal 22:42 into the first half for the Southern New Hampshire
University women's soccer team, but it was not enough as No. 3
Saint Rose posted a 2-1 victory over the visiting Penmen on Sunday
afternoon. With the win, the Golden Knights remain
undefeated, standing at 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the Northeast-10
Conference while the loss drops Southern New Hampshire to 2-2

Morrison collected a rebound shot by teammate Danielle
Courtemanche (Glastonbury, Conn.). Courtemanche
recorded the assist on the goal. The Golden Knights would
answer just over 13 minutes later as Sydney Bond finished on
assists from Brittany Golin and Kristen Bidosky. The two
teams would carry the 1-1 tie into the second half.
Saint Rose would tally the game-winning goal 26 seconds into the
second half on Nicola D'Errico's third goal of the season. Aoife
Herbert and Gianna D'Errico assisted on the goal.
