MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University baseball coach Scott Loiseau announced the program's 2011 schedule on Monday. The Penmen are scheduled to play 50 games, which would be the most in program history.
SNHU is slated to open its 2011 campaign on February 26 when it travels to Wilmington (Del.) University for a doubleheader. The Penmen are also scheduled to face the Wildcats in another twinbill the following day. The next weekend (March 4-5), Southern New Hampshire heads to Long Island to face C.W. Post and Molloy before heading to Florida for a eight-game swing. Included in that trip will be Sunshine State opponents Nova Southeastern and Palm Beach Atlantic.
SNHU's home and Northeast-10 openers are set for Saturday, March 26 when the Penmen entertain Assumption College in a noon doubleheader. The following day the Penmen host UMass Lowell in a single contest.
