2011 SNHU WOMEN'S LACROSSE SCHEDULE
MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse coach Kate Mullen released the program's 2011 schedule on Wednesday.
SNHU opens the 2011 schedule with a two-game southern swing, traveling to Due West, S.C. to face Erskine College on March 7 and to Charlotte, N.C. the following day for a contest with Queens University. The Penmen have never faced either opponent. Southern New Hampshire opens the home portion of its schedule on Thursday, March 10 when it entertains another first-time opponent, Fort Lewis College of Durango, Colorado in a 1:00 contest. The Penmen follow that game with a hole tilt two days later against 2010 NCAA Division II semifinalist C.W. Post.
The Penmen open Northeast-10 play on March 19 when it travels to Southern Connecticut State University. The first home conference game is slated for Saturday, March 26, when SNHU hosts Assumption College.
Southern New Hampshire is coming off a 2010 season that saw it post a 9-8 overall record, including a 7-4 Northeast-10 mark. The Penmen also made their fifth-straight NE-10 semifinal appearance.
