Saint Michael's would try to get back in the game, using a 6-0 run capped by an Adach basket with 3:39 left that made it 52-42.  Southern New Hampshire scored the game's next seven points and a pair of free throws by DeRoma with 1:12 left made it 59-42.

Southern New Hampshire led for much of the first half but took control with a 12-2 run capped by a conventional three-point play by Sorrell with 2:08 remaining that gave the hosts a 33-22 lead.  The Penmen took a 36-27 lead into halftime.
