MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University junior women's lacrosse standout Emily Mongeau (Westborough, Mass.) has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association (IWLCA) Division II All-America Second Team, it was announced Friday. In addition, she was also recently named to the synapsesports.com All-America team as a Second Team selection. In addition, freshman Phoebe Clark (Concord, N.H.) was named to the synapsesports.com Division II All-Rookie Team.
Mongeau becomes the second player in the eight-year history of the SNHU women's lacrosse program to garner All-America honors, as Julie Kraus was a Second Team selection in both 2008 and 2009.
Mongeau, one of seven players to start all 17 games for Southern New Hampshire, led the Penmen in nearly every category in 2011.
