Box Score MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire volleyball team dropped a 3-0 match to Pace University Friday night in Northeast-10 Conference action. The Penmen are now 10-13 overall and 2-9 in league play, while the Setters stand at 14-15 and 8-3 in the conference.
Pace defeated SNHU by set scores of 25-19, 25-17, and 25-20.
Emma Houlihan (Shoreham, N.Y.) totaled eight kills for the Penmen, while Nina McGouldrick (Richardson, Texas) and Heather Colby (North Kingstown, R.I.) each added five kills. Erica Solomon (Islip Terrace, N.Y.) and Ashlee Daoust (Brookline, N.H.) contributed five kills and nine digs a piece. Kendra Mikuta (Orland Park, Ill.) dished out 24 assists along with 14 digs, and Maeghan Higgins (Hesperia, Calif.) added 24 digs.
The Setters were powered by Megan Kurz 12 kills and 14 digs. Elyse Rowland totaled 27 digs for Pace, and Brooke Speyerer added 29 assists en route to the win.
The Penmen return to action tomorrow, November 3 when they host Adelphi University in a 1:00 p.m. Northeast-10 Conference match.
