RINDGE, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team wrapped up the fall season with an 8-1 win at Franklin Pierce University in Northeast-10 action Thursday afternoon. The Penmen finish the fall 5-0 and 4-0 in NE-10 play, while the Ravens are 0-6 overall and in the league.
The Penmen swept all three doubles matches and took five of six singles contests to secure the victory. Junior Diana Vamvakitis (Wading River, N.Y.) was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 1 singles and has not dropped a game in dual match singles action thus far this season. Junior Jamie Hann (Westhampton Beach, N.Y.) and senior Kirsten Jean (Bedford, N.H.) each dropped one game in their wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively.
