CLEVELAND – Following the fall season,
Southern New Hampshire University sits 31st overall and
fourth among Northeast-10 schools in the 2013-14 Learfield Sports
Directors' Cup Division II fall standings. The Penmen
have 100 points thus far, led by the men's soccer
team's NCAA Division II national championship.
The Learfield Cup was developed as
a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate
Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points
are awarded based on each institution's finish in up to 14
NCAA sports – seven women's and seven men's.
Southern New Hampshire sits fourth
among Northeast-10 Conference schools, trailing Stonehill College,
American International College and Adelphi University.
