GOFFSTOWN, N.H. - The Southern New Hampshire women's tennis team opened the spring portion of its schedule Friday night at the Allard Center with a 8-1 win over The College of Holy Cross. The Penmen improve their overall record to 7-1 on the season, while Holy Cross is now 2-3.
Alena Mukdaprakorn (Hartford, Conn.) prevailed in the No. 1 singles spot with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Taylor Stathis. The win extends Mukdaprakorn's career win total to 64, placing her second in the all-time most singles wins category in the program record book.
The Penmen would win four out of six singles matches along with sweeping in doubles play.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action Sunday, February 17 when they travel to American International College for a Northeast-10 Conference match starting at 11:00 a.m.
