MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University did not drop a game as it posted a 9-0 win over Post University in women's tennis Sunday at the SNHU courts. The Penmen upped their record to 4-0, while the Eagles are now 0-8 on the season.
The Penmen posted 8-0 wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles and 6-0, 6-0 triumphs in each of the five singles matches played, as Post was forced to forfeit No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles due to a lack of players. Sophomore Allison Valentine (New Hartford, Conn.) notched her first singles win of the season with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5.
Southern New Hampshire closes out its fall season on Thursday when it travels to Franklin Pierce University for a 4:00 contest.
